Aarti’s Mango Chutney Ham Glaze
Aarti Sequeira created a delicious Mango Chutney Ham Glaze that is a perfect addition to our holiday ham!

Aarti’s Mango Chutney Ham Glaze
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic roughly chopped
- 1/2" piece fresh ginger
- 8oz jar mango chutney
- zest and juice of one orange preferably cara cara variety
- 1/2 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garam masala*
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Blitz all the ingredients in a food processor, then taste for seasoning and adjust according to your palate.
- To use: cook the ham according to package instructions, but drizzle over the ham before cooking. Save some to serve on the side.
Notes
*Garam masala is an Indian spice blend, which means “warm spice mix”. It’s a combination of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and some other similar spices. You can usually find it at the grocery store, but if you don’t have it, use a few pinches of ground cinnamon and cloves, or pumpkin pie spice.
