Irish Stout Beef Stew
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! This year, try making Irish Stout Beef Stew to celebrate! It’s still a great time of year for warm meals! Also, Wellshire’s newest product – Braised Angus Beef Pot Roast – makes this recipe super simple!

Irish Stout Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 package Wellshire Braised Angus Beef Pot Roast
- 1 package Wellshire Paleo Bacon
- 2 ounces olive oil
- 1 ounce all purpose flour
- 1/2 pint Irish stout
- 3 tablespoons malt or applecider vinegar
- 1 cup water cold
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs thyme, oregano
- 4 carrots chopped
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
Instructions
- Cook the bacon until just barely done. Add it and pot roast to casserole dish.
- Put vegetables, herbs, stout, and vinegar in casserole dish with meats.
- Make a paste with the flour and water. Add paste to oil in the pan, cook for several minutes, until browned.
- Add sauce to the casserole dish.
- Bake in the oven for 90 minutes at 375F.
