Sausage Stuffed Peppers
Sausage Stuffed Peppers take on a whole new meaning with fresh greens loaded with Wellshire Turkey Andouille Sausage.

Sausage Stuffed Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 package spinach
- 1 package kale
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 package Wellshire Turkey Andouille Sausage sliced
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4-6 fresh peppers cut in half and cleaned
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 330°F.
- In a large skillet on low to medium heat, sauté oil and garlic for a minute. Add spinach, kale, and basil and lower heat.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. On a cutting board, slice sausage into thin slices; set aside.
- Mix together spinach mixture, cheese, and sausage together in a large bowl.
- Wash and slice the peppers in half, remove stems and seeds.
- Stuff the spinach mix into the peppers and line in a greased casserole dish. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes.
- Top with Parmesan cheese and extra sausage!
